He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery/College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his surgical residency in Miami, Florida. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including complex disorders and injuries that affect people of all ages.
Dr. Burmeister has been married to his wife, Debbie Sheffield Burmeister, for 30 years, and they have three children. He spends his free time enjoying the North Florida lifestyle: fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.
